Ms. Karen Elizabeth Atzert is an associate with the law firm. In 2003, Ms Atzert earned her Bachelor's degree in Economics and with a Concentration in Art History from Columbia University . At Columbia , she served as the senior staff photographer for the Columbia Daily Spectator and was consistently named to the Dean's List. She spent her junior year abroad at the University of Edinburgh .

In 2004, Ms. Atzert was awarded the Law School Fellowship to study at the University of Notre Dame Law School. She spent her second year at Notre Dame's London Campus. From 2006-2007, Ms. Atzert was named to the Dean's List. She also earned a Public Interest Law Fellowship for her work with the Washington County State 's Attorney's Office. Throughout her Law School Career, Ms. Atzert actively participated in the Public Interest Law Forum and the Women's Legal Forum.

Ms. Atzert currently provides pro bono representation to abused and neglected children through the Support Center for Child Advocacy. She also volunteers as a lead runner for Back on My Feet, a running program for the homeless.
